Ricky Ponting (104) defied a strong Indian attack to help Australia post a challenging total against India in Motera.
Former India wicketkeeper and STAR Sports commentator, Vijay Dahiya reckons it is a good score and India will feel the pressure when they chase: "The opening partnership will be the most important. Sehwag can give the side an explosive start and the rest will depend on Tendulkar."
50th Over: Harbhajan Singh for the final over. David Hussey on strike. His cameo has propelled Australia. India need 261 to make their way through to the semi-finals.
49th Over: Ricky Ponting's reverse sweep goes wrong. Ashwin gets another scalp. Easy catch for Zaheer. What an innings from the captain.
47th Over: David Hussey ups the ante, hits Ashwin for a huge six over mid-wicket and Ponting gets his 30th ODI hundred, sixth in all ICC CWC. It has taken the Aussie skipper 18 innings to get here. Take a bow.
46th Over: Seven off Zaheer's ninth over. Ponting moves closer to his 30th ODI hundred.

38th Over: India have lost both their reviews- an unsuccessful LBW call followed by an unsuccessful appeal for a catch by the keeper.
34th Over: Zaheer Khan castles Michael Hussey as Australia slip into a deeper spot. Nice comeback by India but Ponting still looks like he wants to bat for his life.
31st Over: It's Yuvraj again and this time he gets rid of Michael Clarke. This is getting interesting but Ponting, who has reached yet another ODI fifty, would want someone to drop anchor with him.
23rd Over: That's it- Haddin goes as Yuvraj strikes. Smart, sharp catch from Raina. India manage to put a foot in the door before it could have slammed shut.
22nd Over: Haddin brings up his 15th ODI fifty with a boundary off Munaf. You can hear a pin drop in Motera. Ponting looking dangerous at the other end too.
14th Over: Brad Haddin tears into Munaf Patel. The local lad gets it all wrong and the Aussie keeper loves it. Start of an Aussie mayhem?

Sourav Ganguly reckons the Motera track will be good for the batsmen and the skipper winning the toss would like to bat first. Dry and red soil- the Pavillion End will see lots of spin, says the former Indian skipper.
